We have online access to the Los Angeles Times via LexisNexis Academic but the database doesn't seem to have that article. However, I found the article on the L.A. Times website.

For future reference, if you'd like to use the databases, click on the tab that says databases on the library's website, then "click here to access databases" to get to the database page. 

If you are using one of the computers in the labs at City Park you will not need to log in but from any other location you will need to log in after clicking on the database of your choice with your user name (your LOLA#) and password (your birthdate formatted mmddyy).
