Well, you probably want the databases (which you do have to log-in to). They provide articles that can be excellent sources for a paper.  You may also want to get a book or two, which the catalog can help you find. Here is how you get to the databases:

1: Go to: http://dcc.libguides.com/library

2. Go to the tab at the top of the page that says “Databases”

3. Click on the here in "click here to access databases."

4. Click on the database of your choice (they are listed alphabetically).

5. You will be asked to log in.

6. Your username is your LOLA#

7. Your password is your birth date in mm/dd/yy format.

If you still have problems logging-in to the databases, call our  librarian sys-admin, Shanna Clevenger at 504-762-3153.

If you would like recommendations for which database(s) are best for your topic or help with them once you log-in, please chat, email, or call any Delgado librarian. Our contact info is under "About Us" on the Library home page. I do recommend starting with:

Academic Search Complete

A multi-disciplinary database, with more than 6,100 full-text periodicals, including more than 5,100 peer-reviewed journals. In addition to full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for more than 10,100 journals and a total of 10,600 publications including monographs, reports, conference proceedings, etc. The database is updated daily and features PDF content going back as far as 1887, with the majority of full-text titles in native (searchable) PDF format. Searchable cited references are provided for nearly 1,000 journals.
