There are many sources that can provide information on how the Internet was developed. Delgado Libraries Databases can be found at the following link and searched by title, subject, or vendor.
I searched the Gale Virtual Reference Library database and found a nice article about about Internet development in the
Dictionary of American History. Ed. Stanley I. Kutler. Vol. 4. 3rd ed. New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 2003. p397-399.

If you are using one of the DCC Library computers you will not need to log in, but from any other location you will need to log in with your user name (your LOLA#) and password (your birthdate formatted mmddyy).
