Q. If a book is in a "closed collection" does that mean it is not available to look at?

You can check out items that are temporarily "closed," but since the materials are not located in the library, you will need to fill out the "closed stacks form" to request your materials.

Please allow 24-48 hours for the item to be retrieved (weather permitting). We will notify you when the item is available and ready for pickup at the Circulation Desk.
