Delgado Libraries subscribe to many on-line databases which provide access to digital copies of scholarly journals. These databases allow students to easily search journals and then print, save, or e-mail the articles found.

If you want to search multiple journals by subject to find articles on your research topic the database Academic Search Complete is a good place to start and very helpful with over 10,000 full-text journals and periodicals. Under the section on the search page that says "Limit Your Results" check the box for scholarly (peer reviewed) journals.

To access the databases, click on the tab that says databases on the library's website, then "click here to access databases" to get to the database page. If you are on campus, you will not need to log in, but from any other location you will need to log in with your user name and password. The username would be your LOLA# and the password would be your birthdate formatted mmddyy.
